HISTORY
Yi-Shan is a licensed landscape architect with over thirty years of experience in landscape architecture and urban design. She has been responsible for the schematic design, design development, construction documentation and construction observation of many projects in the San Francisco Bay Area and overseas. Her project experience includes public realm streets-capes, plazas, children’s parks, urban and community development projects, educational institutions, recreational facilities, high-end resorts and residential estates. In addition, Yi-Shan is also a firm believer in a sustainable future, and the landscape architects’ role in achieving design sustainability through green urbanism, green infrastructure, and low impact development. She is especially well-versed in the challenges and technical strategies inherent in a sustainable design approach, such as storm water management measures, and bioswale/bio-filtration planting, in addition to completed several Green Point rated and LEED certified projects over the years.
